What are the Reasons to join a Growth Group?

Growth Groups

Have you ever walked into a church and thought: ‘how can I ever get to know people?’
Have you ever walked into a church and thought: ‘how will I fit in?’
Have you ever walked into a church and thought: ‘I would like to more but who do I talk to?’
Then you will begin to understand how beneficial small home groups (Growth Groups) will be for you.

When are they?

The Blackpool Growth Group meets on Thursday at 7.30pm

The Lytham St Anne’s Growth Group meets on Sunday at 6.30pm

What are they?

Each group meets in a home that provides an informal and relaxed environment.  The Growth Groups exist to help us get to know one another in a small group setting, work together to apply the teaching of the Bible to our lives and to encourage one another in the Christian life. They also provide an opportunity for us to pray together in a meaningful way.
Our Growth Groups have a varied programme of teaching and events. This includes a combination of Bible studies, prayer meetings, eating together and social activities.

Why do we run them?

Growth Groups provide an informal environment where we can grow as a Christian family, share our experiences together and pray for one another.
We seek to be like the early church as:
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Everyday they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts… and the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.’ Acts 2:42, 44, 46-47′
